I have years of experience supporting and advocating for students with learning differences, depression and anxiety, and racial, sexual, and gender identity trauma. Over the last three years in Amherst, I have been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQIA++ students. I use my privilege as a cis white woman to stand up and fight for people with marginalized communities.
I am committed to undoing white supremacy and to interrogating my own privilege as a cis white woman. If elected, I am determined to amplify the voices of the students, the educators, the staff, the union, and the families in our district.
