About Me
I am a mother to two students who have attended the Amherst schools from kindergarten at Wildwood, through the middle school, and now are in 10th and 11th grade at the high school. I have served the schools for years as a class parent and in leadership positions on the PGOs at Wildwood and ARMS.
I have worked in higher education for more than 20 years. I have been an academic dean at Hampshire College, run a program for prospective veterinary students at Tufts University, and currently am an academic advisor at UMass and a union steward.
I am a licensed certified social worker (LCSW) with two masters degrees: public health and social work. My husband is a long-time special education, humanities, and now math teacher at ARMS.
